GreenWashrooms is an independent comparison service that helps UK businesses find and compare washroom, hygiene and sanitary service providers. We are an introducer only and do not provide washroom services ourselves. The site and brand are operated by ADVRT Marketing LTD. 2. Information we collect
When you complete our enquiry form we collect the information you provide, which may include:
- Your name, business name, email address and telephone number;
- Your business location or postcode;
- Details about your washroom service requirements (such as premises type, number of toilets or cubicles, services needed, current provider and contract status).
We may also collect limited technical data automatically, such as your device type, general usage information and marketing attribution parameters (for example UTM tags), to help the site function and to measure our advertising.
Note: business contact data is still personal data under UK GDPR where it identifies an individual, and is treated as such throughout this policy.
3. How your data is stored and handled
All personal data submitted through this website is stored and processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
As you complete the enquiry form, your answers are held only within your own browser until you submit them. Nothing is sent to us until you choose to submit your enquiry. On submission, your information is transferred securely to our system.
4. How we use your information, and who receives it
We use the information you provide to:
- Match your enquiry with a suitable washroom service provider;
- Share your details with the single licensed washroom and hygiene service provider matched to your enquiry, so they can prepare and provide a quote;
- Respond to your enquiries and provide customer support;
- Contact you about your enquiry and, where you have not opted out, relevant offers.
We share only what is necessary for your matched provider to prepare a relevant quote. Your enquiry goes to one provider only, never to a panel.
5. Legal basis for processing
Our lawful basis for processing and sharing your enquiry data is your consent, given when you tick the consent box and submit the form. Where we rely on consent, you may withdraw it at any time by contacting us. Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR), business-to-business follow-up by phone or email is permitted under the corporate subscriber rules; consent remains our basis and we state it plainly here.
6. Data retention
We keep your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes set out in this policy, to comply with our legal obligations, and to resolve any disputes. Our standard retention period is [12 months unless instructed otherwise, TBC]. When it is no longer required, we securely delete it.
7. Your rights
